CAREER HIGHLIGHTS
Stock car driver Paulie Harraka, 20, returns for a fourth season as a member of the Bill McAnally Racing program. He has again been chosen as a driver to participate in the Drive for Diversity Initiative.
Paulie was the one to watch in 2008 at All American Speedway. He finished second in the tracks 2007 Late Model championship and was awarded the Rookie of the Year title all the while maintaining a 4.3 GPA. He went on to win the 2008 NWAAS Late Model Track Championship at AAS giving Drive for Diversity their first championship. He was also the recipient of the Wendell Scott Trail Blazer Award. Paulie received the 2007 NASCAR Drive for Diversity Participant Award in the driver category. This honor is given to the driver who exemplifies outstanding performance on-track as well as off-track to reach out to youths. In 2009, Paulie gave the D4D their first two wins in the NASCAR touring division and received the Coca-Cola Move of the Race Award and was named the Sunoco Rookie of the Year in the NASCAR K&N Pro Series West. Paulie is a full-time student with a double major at Duke University.
