Bill McAnally Racing
Bill McAnally Racing was founded in 1986 and is owned by former NASCAR Camping World Series West driver, Bill McAnally,
with one vision; winning races and championships. BMR is dedicated to finding good people and placing them to make the
racing machine roll. BMR serves as a marketing tool for their sponsors to increase sales and name recognition.
McAnally was able to win four championships in the NASCAR Winston West Series (now the NASCAR Camping World Series West).
Beginning in 1999 with driver Sean Woodside, McAnally gave NAPA AUTO PARTS its first championship in the series.
That was followed in 2000 and 2001 with NASCAR Craftsman Truck Series driver, Brendan Gaughan piloting the #16 NAPA AUTO PARTS car, then
in 2008, BMR brought home the championship with driver Eric Holmes in the #20 NAPA AUTO PARTS Toyota Camry.
BMR also took home top honors by winning the Inaugural NASCAR Toyota All-Star Showdown in 2003 with driver Austin Cameron.
In recent years, BMR has expanded to a three car team in the NCWS West. Alumni of BMR include NASCAR Craftsman Truck Series drivers Jim
Inglebright and Steve Portenga, IRL driver Sarah Fisher, NASCAR Sprint Cup drivers Clint Bowyer and Kerry Earnhardt, and the
NASCAR Whelen All American Series National Champion Peyton Sellers. BMR also began a driver development program in the NASCAR
Whelen All American Series in association with the NASCAR Driver Diversity Initiative. Returning for his second season with
BMR and his third season with D4D is New Jersey native Paulie Harraka. Also driving for BMR will be Lindsay Barton, Beau DeBard,
and Katie Hagar.
Piloting the #16 HASA Pool Products Toyota will be sophomore driver Moses Smith. In the #18 NAPA Auto Care Center Toyota and
returning to the series after successfully beating cancer is Austin Cameron. Completing the BMR grid driving the #20 NAPA AUTO
PARTS Toyota is the 2006 NCWS West champion, Eric Holmes.
BMR is headquartered in Antelope, California. Housing state of the art technology and a stable of race cars, BMR is
able to handle all aspects of race car preparation.
Bill McAnally Racing is one of the most respected race teams in the series. It will stay the course as it seeks a fifth
NASCAR Grand National West Championship title. |
